Seaweed Workshop

Spend a full day immersed with seaweeds in this hands-on, intensive workshop scheduled to coincide with a very low tide in the heart of the local seaweed season.

Seaweed Workshop includes:

*Foraging fresh seaweeds

*Learning how to dry seaweeds

*Identification of a variety of local seaweeds

*Tasting local, wild-harvested seaweeds

*Learning some culinary uses of seaweeds

*Seaweed hand soak

*Learning about the nutritional and health properties of seaweeds

*Seaweed ecology

*Learning about the crucial role of algae/seaweed to the health of our planet
